Energy Outreach Colorado supports nonprofit organizations that serve low-income individuals and families, by providing funding for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment. This includes, but is not limited to:
The Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program is funded by partners Atmos Energy, Black Hills Energy, Colorado Natural Gas, Xcel Energy, and the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships.

Applications received from (1) Churches with low-income services provided directly from the church; or (2) Organizations with long-term leases (minimum 3 years remaining, option to renew) and a letter showing owner support are not accepted. Projects benefiting government owned buildings are also not eligible.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations operating in Colorado. Applicants must have a core mission to serve low-income individuals and families and must also be responsible for paying energy bills.
Applications are accepted quarterly. The next cycle is anticipated to be due on February 1, 2019.
Award amounts vary based on program area.
