The Department of Energy will establish the Rural and Municipal Utility Advanced Cybersecurity Grant and Technical Assistance Program to provide grants and technical assistance to, and enter into cooperative agreements with, eligible entities to protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats.

Responses to the RFI must be submitted via email to DE-FOA-0002877@netl.doe.gov by 5:00 p.m. ET on December 19, 2022. The application process is expected to open during the first quarter of 2023.
A total of $250 million is appropriated to this program for fiscal years 2022 through 2026.
