The $1 billion State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program is the first federal cybersecurity-focused program that provides funds for governments to invest in their cybersecurity infrastructure. This historic funding is an incredible opportunity for states, local governments, and territories to address cybersecurity risks and threats that can disrupt the critical services they provide their communities. States will receive funding from the federal government and must pass at least 80% of their allocation down to local governments to support their cybersecurity projects. In order to optimize your government’s chance of accessing these funds, it’s crucial to begin thinking now about your cybersecurity needs and to know the types of information you’ll need to gather as these funds become available.

Join Grants Office, with special guests Carahsoft, Okta, and Amazon Web Services, as we discuss this exciting new funding opportunity. We’ll provide an overview of the program, discuss the way funds will flow from states to local governments, and explain what next steps you can take to prepare for this program.
