Program Snapshot Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation (CTAS)

SUMMARY
Provides federally recognized Tribes and Tribal consortia an opportunity to develop a comprehensive and coordinated approach to public safety and victimization issues and to apply for funding.  Applicants may apply for funding under the Purpose Area(s) that best addresses Tribes’ concerns related to public safety, criminal and juvenile justice, substance use-related crime, and access to treatment and recovery support, including Tribal healing to wellness courts; and the needs of victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.

FY2025 purpose areas are:
• Public safety and community policing (COPS Office)
• Comprehensive tribal justice systems strategic planning (BJA, COPS Office, OJJDP, OVC)
• Tribal Justice Systems (BJA)
• Tribal Justice System Infrastructure Program (BJA)
• Adult Tribal Treatment Courts (BJA)
• Children’s Justice Act Partnerships for Indian Communities (OVC)
• Youth Healing to Wellness Courts (OJJDP)
• Tribal Youth Program (OJJDP)

Approximately $105,000,000 is available in FY25, distributed across all-purpose areas.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligible applicants are federally recognized Indian tribes, as determined by the Secretary of the Interior. This includes Alaska Native villages and tribal consortia consisting of two or more federally recognized Indian tribes.

DEADLINE
Applicants are to submit a (SF-424 and the SF-LLL) to Grants.gov by March 18, 2025. Full applications are to be submitted to JustGrants by March 25, 2025.
