SUMMARY: The foundation favors capital projects that will have an ongoing impact, such as the construction or purchase of new facilities; building renovations and improvements; purchase of capital equipment and furnishings; and/or other one-time capital needs.
The Foundation has the following focus areas
- Conservation and preservation
- Those underprivileged and underserved
- Health, including mental health
- Community
- Education
Request should be made for grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000. The overall project budget should not exceed $2.5 million.
DEADLINE: The next application deadline is February 1st, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY: The Bolger Foundation only awards grants to USA-based nonprofit organizations that have a valid tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization also must be classified as a public charity, not as a “private foundation”, under Section 509(a)(1) or (2) of the code. The Bolger Foundation does not give grants to individuals or overseas organizations.
